Since 2010 steady increase of the price of pigment titanium dioxide has been evidenced. Such increase is caused by China’s market expanding volumes. According to the projections of experts (Reg Adams, Industrial Minerals) the increase will keep in the years ahead, while the cost pigment titanium dioxide will be on the rise.
PK-PIGMENT is produced with the application of “AF – Additive Manufacturing” technology (additive manufacturing technology). The technology is based on molecular titanium dioxide application to zeolite surface. As a result we obtain synthetically produced composite pigment, which is maximally identical to titanium dioxide due to its optical properties (whiteness, hiding property / opacity).
